What happens after I add the video link?
Sembrae identifies the message, reads its full transcript, and generates the summary, the outline, the key Scripture with how each passage was used, and daily next steps. The sermon then sits in your library, where you can journal beside it, turn it into a devotional of 3 to 21 days, or generate a study guide for your group.
What if the video has no captions or transcript yet?
Some videos take up to a day for the platform to publish captions. If Sembrae cannot read a transcript yet, it says so and offers two ways forward: paste the transcript yourself, or record the message in the iPhone app next time.
Does Sembrae download or repost the video?
No. Sembrae works from the message’s transcript to write its summary and keeps that transcript as a shared record; it does not store, reproduce or republish the video. The video stays where its owner posted it, and the summary links back to it.
